Old Trafford crowd need to cheer United on more?

United are losing games at home. Part of the problem is the team, and the players, not being good enough collectively. The second reason relates to the atmosphere of the crowd at Old Trafford. There isn't much support or cheering from the fans. A lot of them just come to see the stadium and the game, and aren't interested in helping to push the team on . An electric crowd can affect any opposition on the day. The most incredible noise made by any crowd in a stadium was by Chelsea when they played in Europe for the first time in the 90s, when Glen Hoddle was manager. That atmosphere in their stadium ate the opposition alive on European nights.
