Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.

I am in the exact same position! Let me know if you have found out. From what I understand, the CV doesn’t need to be too specific to the actual programme, more about your experience, education, and a summary on your personal attributes ( could be wrong but that’s what I’m doing). The cover letter I am basically just going to write why I am interested in applying and what interests me about economics (may also be wrong but that is what my teacher told me to do)

Hi guys! I want to apply for the IEA’s Future Thought Leaders’ Programme for Sixth Form, and they need a CV and cover letter to be submitted. I was wondering if anyone who is applying or has been accepted before can inform me about what they wrote on both their CV and Cover Letter, as well as what were your AS-Level predicted grades and how important are they when applying? Thank you!

Just got in to the one in april, didnt submit predicted grades, just write everything you've done, your a levels and your gcse results on cv and you will probably be fine

They don’t need your AS Predicted grades!
I’ve applied for the July intake. I just put all of my previous work (most relevant) on my CV and in my cover letter I wrote about my achievements and why I wanted to do it.

Yes same. Unfortunately I didn’t get accepted which is a shame, I’m disappointed but I can’t say it wasn’t expected given that I don’t even study economics and have recently developed an interest. I have other work experience planned at a think tank and with a political party campaign team in the near future. I’m assuming you got accepted- well done!
