Great to hear you're thinking of studying here at Glasgow and congratulations on your offer!

For the film and television studies programme you have two first year courses. Screen Histories which has an assessment breakdown of 40% presentation, 50% essay and 10% seminar contribution and Screen Analysis, which is a 40% timed written assessment, 50% essay and 10% seminar contribution.

Overall, it does seem to be quite a coursework heavy programme, but you can have a look through the different courses offered throughout the 4-year programme here. If you go to programme structure and then course details you can get an overview of each course!

Due to the flexible degree structure, you will also take other classes in your first and second year, so the assessment style will depend on what you choose.
