There’s a page for Clarendon Scholarship 2024 but none for this year. Thought I’d open a forum for us applicants who are hoping to be considered or have received offers from Clarendon to share important information, updates, etc.

Based on their website, I don't think they conduct separate interviews.

Fingers crossed! I read somewhere that offers go out in March, but some get early offers in February. Can anyone confirm how true this is?

I know some people get the Clarendon as late as July.

Yes. And some people have already been awarded Clarendon funding. So it really depends what course you've applied for. If you've applied for a Master of Fine Art, hearing that someone who's applied for an MSc in Migration Studies has been awarded Clarendon doesn't mean much.

I wouldn’t read too much into that! My college offer letter mentioned I could transfer if another college came through with funding—so nothing is set in stone yet. Also, Clarendon isn’t tied to a specific college (I know they have partnership awards and all, but you can still receive Clarendon without that!).

I received notification about my Clarendon offer yesterday! I was given my DPhil offer in mid-late January, and received the official offer letter in early February.

I’m not comfortable sharing the exact department, but the programme is in Biomed/Bio Sciences.

Are you sure that's a good idea? What if someone tells you, but you still don't get an offer because there was someone else even higher than you? Don't you think you are better off waiting for an actual real life offer instead of being led astray by hope? They say it's the hope that kills you. If I were you, I would stop reading this forum.

Well that's just my opinion and I seem to be in a minority, so feel free to ignore.
