Help with mathsbombe

Can someone help with this puzzle? I used the triangular number equation already, but that doesn't account for the 100 points? Here is the puzzle: There are 100 points given in the plane, and we are asked to draw 2023 straight lines, each of which must pass through at least one of 100 given points. What is the maximum number of points at which two or more lines intersect?

I think youve asked this before, but if youre using triangular numbers, it helps to see what you mean. Is it just inductively adding lnes without them being constrained to pass through certain points?

But if you have one point, then the lines must intersect at one point
If you have 3 points, 5 points, ...
