Do I have to attend interview for a uni course I don't want to go forward with?

Hi, I applied for university of Staffordshire and city of Birmingham university last week. I got an unconditional from Birmingham and the 4 courses I applied to at Staffordshire are all conditional. 2 courses have just asked for qualification certificates but the other 2 have asked for the certificate and a portfolio. (Games art and concept art for games and film) But I think after some consideration I don't want to go forward with the concept for games and film course as it lies a little out of my skills and comfort zone. Do I just not submit a portfolio? I still want to submit and apply for the games art course so I have to attend the portfolio review/interview for that later this month but is there a way to let them know I'm not interested in doing that for the concept art for games and film course?

If you take Birmingham City's unconditional offer, you will be firmly accepted. There will be no point of responding to Staffordshire.

Otherwise, I would suggest submitting the certificate and portfolio. Simply because you don't need to shut the door at this moment. Buying time for you to deeply think over your way.

If you’re not interested in those 2 choices anymore then you can substitute them for a different university and course instead.

Alternatively you can withdraw those choices on your UCAS hub (but it makes more sense to substitute and give yourself another option)
