Congratulations on your offers Keira101. Could I ask if you did Art at A-level, or are you on an art foundation course?

Hey! I’m on art foundation course at college. I do a level 3 diploma! How about you ?

My daughter was rejected and asked to do an Art Foundation. She applied straight out of school, doing Art IB at Higher Level.

What university did she get rejected at. I’m sorry she got rejected! I’m still awaiting on my interviews. Good luck to her though !!

Hi, I received an offer from Chelsea yesterday. I would definitely recommend your daughter to do an art foundation! Not only does it help with university offers but it will really strengthen her artist practice. I'm on Kingston foundation at the moment and it has been the best few months of my life.

Thank you, that's good feedback. Did it change your mind about what you wanted to specialize in?

I got a conditional offer from Chelsea this morning to study fine art! I have also applied to CSM (fine art as well) but I'm still waiting for a response but I think I'll be going with Chelsea as its my top choice

Thank you! Personally I love the location of Chelsea and the college itself as its right by the Tate Britain and the Thames. I do need to go to one of the open days for either college to get a better feel for them but that's my thoughts at the moment. How about you? Is there one college that you prefer over the other at the moment?

I’ve been to both open days for Chelsea and central saint martins. Chelsea is much smaller compared central saint martins. I prefer saint martins because of its high reputation, and overall the large university. The area attracts me to. I did like how Chelsea was beside an art gallery, central saint martins is right next to their own as well. Chelsea I still loved, and they seem to really push people to work together. For example in the first year of Chelsea the studio spaces are in form groups! I definitely recommend going to both open days as it’s help me massively!

At the beginning I was deciding between fashion and fine art, but rotation week was very helpful and made me realise art was best suited for me

I think so. I haven't actually seen CSM as I had a faff on with the open day but. (applied for graphic communication / graphic design) I have a bit more of a hands on print experimental style and from what I've heard the smaller size of camberwell and the course would suit me better... could be wrong 🤣
