Yes! Have you thought about where you'd like to study yet? Or are you waiting to see what you score on UCAT?

I mean my current "Big 3" are Cambridge, UCL, Imperial - idk about the fourth yet. And obviously I am waiting for my UCAT but I swear y12s can;t even sign up for it yet? But my main reason is just to a) look for tips on how to ensure I can get into the top medical universities and b) I would just like to know more apart the path of medicine after sixth form as there are still some things I don't quite get.

Does anyone have any recommendations for S6 subjects? I want to take advanced higher biology, chemistry and art would this be alright?

Yeah, you'll be able to register for the UCAT in the spring/summer of 2026. It's nice to aim high for medical school, but I would choose a "less" competitive 4th option. Obviously medicine is very competitive everywhere, but your three options are some of the most competitive options out there, and so it would be a good idea to have a safer option within your choices too - an offer from any medical school is infinitely better than having no offers at all.

I am also wondering what to take for S6. I definitely want to take Advanced higher Chemistry and Maths but I am not sure about Biology because the teacher has a particuarly bad reputation for not even completing the course. My dream subjects if I wasn't going to do medicine would be Advanced higher Chemistry, Maths and then two highers as well which would be Art and Physics. -But i am not sure if I should risk not having three advanced highers especially if I am applying to places like St Andrews.

You could crash advanced higher art I think since it’s all course work you can do that at my school but not sure how it works elsewhere.
