How to approach writing a head boy/student application letter

hey guys,
I want to apply for head boy and I need to write a 600 word personal statement.
Would anyone have any ideas on the key things to definitely include in it as well as how to structure it to make it effective.

Thanks

Hi,
I would consider putting in what you have done for the school and what you have done for your school community, as schools often consider someone who has represented the school or has had a large input in the school community.
I would also include what you have done for your community beyond school, as this can round up who you are as an individual (I would put this at the end to sum it up).
At the beginning include why you want this position and what you would do in this position (schools do know that this is a key thing to put on a UCAS application and that will be why its a popular position to fill but consider the impact of the school on your current trajectory).
Hope this helps!
