how many university applications can you accept

I know you can apply for up to 5 universities in the UK but how many offers can you accept and what is the deadline for accepting these offers in most cases?

Hi,
If you get 5 offers (congrats!) you would need to accept 2.
One of these offers you accept will be your "firm" choice. This the uni you most want to go to and should have higher entry requirements than your insurance choice.
The second offer is your "insurance" choice, this is your back up option so will ideally have lower entry requirements than your firm choice. This is the uni you will go to if you do not reach the grades for your firm choice.

The other 3 offers will be rejected.

You can only respond to your offers once all your unis have either accepted or rejected you.
The deadline for replying is June 5th. If you have not responded to your offers by this date ucas will automatically reject all 5 offers so make sure you reply!!

I have linked a ucas article that explains it better than I probably can

As above.
Make sure the firm place is where you definitely want to go because on results day, if you get the grades and they accept you, your insurance offer will automatically disappear.

Up to 2. You must pick a Firm, and can pick an insurance, (obviously most people will). The other offers get declined automatically.

On results day, your Firm choice will have first refusal of accepting you, regardless of what grades you achieve. You can't decide to go to your insurance choice, that only comes into play if you don't meet your Firm requirements and they can't accept you as a 'near miss'. So your Firm should be the uni you want to go to the most.

Your reply deadline will be on UCAS Hub, it will be determined by when your final decision was received.
