What's Wrong With Me?

I just want to preface this post by saying that I am not an intelligent individual by any means. However, when I used to be in education, I always struggled with the writing element of essay-based subjects.

Sometimes, my knowledge was never the problem, it was my writing style. More often than not, I found it very difficult to put my thoughts into words, which made it seem like I didn't know the knowledge, when I did actually know the knowledge, but at that time, I just didn't know how to transcribe my thoughts and knowledge into words. This would mean that I did not write enough or it was not a satisfactory quality, nor quantity, which would mean that I would fail or get bad grades. I realised what I needed to do a few months before my GCSE exams, which meant I could pass (and I did pass,) but it wasn't phenomenol grades. Why did it take me years to realise this? I am actually a stupid ****. I'm surprised that I did A Levels after GCSES, then university, after A Levels.
Im glad you managed to get through your academic journey and realise what you were struggling with 🙂

I have the same problem. It is what it is, I can't change how my brain works, and I can't be good at everything.

It sounds like this hasn't really stopped you from achieving things in life, so why do you view this as a problem?

It genuinely has, though. It affected my overall academic attainment. The inability of knowing how to structure my answers, gave off the illusion that I was unknowledgeable, when I actually I was just struggling to structure my answers!!!

I think you have posted before that you got a 2:1 in your degree. That is a fantastic achievement and it will not hold you back whether you choose to pursue further studies or to took for work.
