medicine

I want to do a medicine course in uni but my year leader made me pick applied science, history and psychology. Is there anything iI can do to get into a medicine degree even if it takes another year or two till i get to uni.

No, what your ultimate specialty choice will be has no bearing on medical school admissions. Medical degrees cover the whole of medicine and you won't being to specialise until 2 years after your degree at the earliest.

If you aren't doing the requisite science A-levels now, then you'll probably need to aim to do them after your current A-levels, or do an Access to Medicine course which is accepted by the medical school(s) you wish to apply to (not all medical schools accept all Access to Medicine courses).

Note also some Access to Medicine courses don't take school leavers and only take those who are 21 or over, or have a couple years experience of working (they may prefer this to be in the NHS in some cases I believe...?).
