Second degree nursing retakes?

I'm doing PGDIP Nursing as a 2nd degree, I get student finance funding. I may have to repeat one extra term to retake assignments and to make up placement hours. Will I be able to apply for funding for this? How do I do this and what are the rules surrounding this? I've read about 3+1 for BSc nursing but what about PGDIP because it's a 2 year fast-track course?
