I’m currently looking at 2027 entry to university and am looking at the contemporary history course. any current or past students, what’s it like? also, anyone who deferred entry there was it easy?

If you haven't already, i'd recommend registering your interest for one of our upcoming open days, where you'll get the opportunity to meet current students and staff from the course and ask any questions you have. You'll also get the opportunity to join a tour of the facilities and accommodation if this is of interest to you. You can register your interest here.

In regards to deferring, this is usually not a problem if you are looking to defer one years entry. Once you apply to us, within 48 hours you will receive an email to activate a Studentview account with us. Through this account you can track your application and communicate with your admissions officer. This is where you can also send a message to request a deferral.
