Choosing between BS computer science and BS artificial intelligence

What should i choose, BS computer science or BS artificial intelligence.
Hello :hi: ill just make you a little BSc Computer Science vs BSc Artificial Intelligence post

Computer Science:

Broader foundation in programming, algorithms, and software development

More flexibility in career paths (software engineering, web development, cybersecurity, etc.)

Better choice if you want to keep your options open in tech

Strong emphasis on fundamental computing principles

Artificial Intelligence:

Specialized focus on machine learning, neural networks, and AI applications

Growing demand in fields like data science, robotics, and AI research

More mathematics and statistics-intensive

Ideal if you're specifically passionate about AI and machine learning

Consider this: Computer Science might be better if you want broader career options, while AI is excellent if you're specifically interested in machine learning and AI applications. Both degrees will teach you programming fundamentals.

My recommendation would be:

Choose Computer Science if:

You want more flexibility in your career path

You're unsure which area of computing you want to specialize in

You prefer a broader foundation in technology

Choose Artificial Intelligence if:

You're specifically passionate about AI and machine learning

You enjoy mathematics and statistics

You want to work specifically in AI-related fields

Many Computer Science programs also offer AI modules, so you could still specialize in AI later even if you choose the CS degree.

This doesn't give you an exact answer as they're both really good fields of study but I hope it helps put things into perspective.
