Would I get accepted to Law?

For context I’m in S5 (Scotland) studying 5 Highers in English, Maths, Art & Design, French, and Classical Studies. In national 5s I got all As, so I’m hoping for the same or similar this year. Next year I plan to take AH English, then maybe another AH and two new highers (history, modern, sociology, biology, idk I haven’t decided yet).
I don’t do much outwith school, I also haven’t studied higher Modern Studies. I’m wanting to get a work placement in a primary school, but I doubt that would help with law so I’m unsure if it’s worth counting as something I do out of school.
I’d love to go to Edinburgh Uni, or St Andrews (however I know they don’t do law, it would have to be for something else), so I’m here to ask if applying to Law would essentially be a waste of time and I’d likely be rejected, and if so what other options are there for the subjects I study?

Specific subjects speaking, to get into LLB Law at Edinburgh Uni all you need is a B or above in Higher English. A lot of people assumed you'd need Modern Studies which just isn't the case - I know because I used to think you needed Modern Studies before my friend told me that wasn't true. A lot of people who apply for law probably do take Modern Studies as it is relevant to the law course - or so I'm assuming as I don't take Mod Stud myself - but it's not the make or break so long as you get your English at a B or above, plus meet the entry requirements of AAAAA.

In my opinion, law is one of those areas where experience matters - especially since it's competitive and almost all applicants will have the AAAAA anyway so that won't make you stand out - and it's never too late to start getting experience. If you would really like to study law then I think you should go for it! Get out there! Look for things to do in and around your community! See if you can find any work experience or workshops in law firms! At the end of the day, that is what will make you stand out against the other applicants.

If it's something you really want to do then applying is not a waste of time in the slightest. You could go on to take Mods as one of your Highers next year if you feel really disadvantaged with not having it. There's also the Open University YASS (Young Applicants in School Scheme) which has a law course. I really don't see a reason why you wouldn't be able to do law if you get the entry req grades this year and look for opportunities to get experience.
