I applied to JAI. from what I know it will start with your project, followed by some questions on it, as well as some general particle physics questions.

Ah, I see. Were the general physics questions specifically related to your proposed field of experiment, or were they standardized questions for all applicants in particle physics?

Hi everyone,
I just received a formal interview invitation for a DPhil programme in particle physics at Oxford. Does anyone know what to expect? Will the interview focus more on discussing my current research project and follow-up questions based on that, or will it be geared towards general knowledge in particle physics?
