CPS legal trainee 2025 application (2026 start)

Hi, any tips would be very useful as I’m about to prepare for the pre-recorded interview. Researching the CPS is a must and the four behaviours listed in the job description. Although, the interview pack did state that their interview style is quite different to the standard civil service behaviour questions and that’s thrown me off. Any tips would be appreciated! Thank you.

Have you done the interview yet? If so, how did you find it

Hi, I just did the interview. The last two questions were pretty unexpected (the second one threw me off quite a bit) and they were very tight for time, which was pretty much expected. Overall, the interview went better than expected. At the end of the day, there’s only so much you can prepare for these types of interviews.
