College or Sixth form advice

I have been debating with myself over whether I should go college or sixth form. If I choose sixth form then I will study Chemistry, biology and physics as i want to do medicine in uni. If I choose college then I will do 4 subjects, Chemistry, biology and physics and a 4th one probably maths but i haven't decided yet. In college I would also do an EPQ but not in sixth form. The ollege also provides support for applying to Oxbridge and Ivy leagues and other elite unis across the world, and they even take you to your prefered uni open day for either Cambridge or Oxford. Although I would have to do 4 a levels and an EPQ but I am predicted 8 A*s for my GCSEs so i think I could handle it. After the 2 years, i will be applying to Cambridge as well as all ivy leagues in the US so my question is which is better?

The college is Cardiff and Vale College.

What are the advantages of 6th form then? You almost sound fully decided on college which looks great tbh
For sixth from it’s mostly that all my friends are staying there, I know the place so familiarity and also less a levels.

Ok well you don't really need 4 a levels but they both look really good options tbh - i would apply for both bc then if you possibly don't get into the college (which would probably be your first choice) then you can just go to 6th form. The fact that the college supports uni applications is definitely a plus for there tho. Weird question but are you good at making friends? Bc then college would be fine as you'd make friends pretty quick but if not staying somewhere you like is maybe better? And I would check the tracking and facilities at both places to check you'll get good grades at either places and you'll feel comfortable there

That’s the problem as tomorrow I have to decide in school on where I’m going after GCSEs. Also, I guess I’m ok at making friends but it should be easier than before as now everyone will be new there. Also, what do you mean by tracking?

Ah, I see now. I was talking to someone who went to the school and they said the teaching was amazing for the subject's i would take. I think that i'll go college as it will be a much better environment for me
