Hi so I’ve received a message saying that my work has been detected by Ai 41% and I didn’t use Ai at all I used my own information and I used grammarly and now I’m scared that I will be kicked off the course or fail the whole module I need help can someone please help me I’m so worried

Tell them you didn’t use it. They have no way of proving it as all the ai detectors are rubbish & say themselves not to use them to take action against students

if they used an AI to check if your work was AI generated, take any piece of literature that whoever said that made, be it emails, scientific papers, anything they definitely wrote themselves and put that through an AI checker and question them on the result

if i understand right, you're saying they used AI to check? they cant, AI is non deterministic (meaning it doesnt say the same thing every time with the same input) so one time it can say 41% AI generated, another time not AI generated, hence it is inaccurate to use as a metric.

as for what to tell them, ask them to explain how using AI is an accurate metric of checking if your work is AI generated

It says. The university AI content scanner of 41% they are unable to mark this assignment it has been refereed to plagarism team

Do you have a version history of your assignment, if you did it in Google Docs, you might still have it. Share these as evidence that you've done the work yourself. Most of these AI detectors are BS and profs don't understand that ai detection isn't a perfect science.

Did you also try to run it through an ai detector yourself? I use aidetectplus for my essays, it also provides explanation of why your content might be AI/human, you can add that to your evidence too.

Exactly, most AI detectors are complete BS. The only decent one I've used is aidetectplus, mostly because it also provides an explanation rather than a random ai score. These profs don't understand how ai detection works.
