Student finance after one year of level 6 degree apprenticeship

Hi, Im applying for Uni and degree apprenticeships. If I take the apprenticeship and work there for a year, then decided I don't like it, drop it and go to full time university study, how will this impact my access to student finance.
I won't be taking any student finacnce during the apprenticeship year.
