Volunteer & Work-Experience for Biomedical Science students

I am a Final year (Hons.) Biomedical Science student at Cardiff Met. Wanted to know if anybody knows how to approach this task of gaining work experience in labs/hospitals as a degree holder who is looking to go into medicine? Any tips?

Do you mean apply to graduate entry medicine or look for a job in labs at a hospital?

For now, I would like to get some visa sponsored role in the healthcare sector preferably. Also, applying to GEM in the background to see if I get admission into that. That is my primary goal
