Staying on campus

Is there any reason why I can't stay in my Camper Van on Campus. I'm only attending university for 13 weeks. There is nowhere local to stay, and to be honest, even if there was, I can afford it. I have tried air BnB, the asking on the local chat group ect. I have had a look at the area and there is street parking either. It's all double yellow lines. In campus close to the library so I can study and sports centre so I can unwind seems to be the best option.
Thanks

Most campuses will have parking restrictions. Many won’t issue parking permits for students and those that do often forbid overnight parking.
Most campuses also have security monitoring them 24/7, so someone dipping into a van at all hours will draw attention.

NB. I wonder if this is the same poster who was recently mulling over staying in the library?

Look for rooms in flatshares / temp rooms etc - Student accommodation, student rooms in student flat share from StudentSpareRoom.co.uk

As above, Campus security will spot you quickly - they won't allow anyone to 'live' on a University car-park.
