Switching from migrant worker to a tuition fee support only

Dear SFE,
I would like to ask if I can switch from a migrant worker to a tuition fee support only? I was granted as a migrant worker, as I am in UK more than 3 years, and I have pre - settled status. On my last year of studies after a 1st semester-before starting another (last one), I might be away for few months due to personal issues. I know that as a migrant worker I need to be working in the UK during my studies. However I may lose this because I will not be working for few months. I do understand I will lose the maintenance loan, and tuition fee. Therefore, could I convert into tuition fee support only, to do not lose my tuition fee for the last semester of my studies? When would be the right moment to request that, if possible?
