Do I drop an actuarial science placement year?

Alot of these firms are asking for A in A level maths as a standard requirement for an industrial placement year , I didnt get that , the only places that don't require A levels was Legal and General and Lloyds ,so only 2 firms that I know of so far , would love it if any actuaries can recommend me firm where A levels isn't required , if not then do I drop it since my rejection rate is probably extremely high
