What do we think?

Am I gonna get rejected??? I really need to know if I should prepare myself for rejection because the not knowing is killing me. I know it's normal for applying to law not to hear back for ages but I do think it's a sign that I'm not gonna get in... Because common now, I've applied to UCL which is top 3 for law in the country, like why on earth would I ever get in there?? And King's has a cut-off score of 30 which means I'm probably pending immediate rejection (there's no way that I got 30 in the lnat, first of all bcs I never got that high or even near that high in practise tests and secondly bcs otherwise I feel like I would've received offers from the other ones I applied to....). I mean I can just feel a rejection coming because I just don't see why I would be accepted to any of these unies with all the other amazing candidates. I have good grades but so does everyone else and I really failed the lnat. I'm so worried I'm gonna get rejecteddd. So far I've gotten rejected pre-interview by oxford...........................................................>>>>..................................................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.......................................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.......................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>...........................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.....................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>...................................................................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>..................................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>......................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>......................................................>.................>>>>>.....................................................................................................................................................>>>>>>................................................................................................................................>>>>>>>>>>>.......................................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.......................................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>..

I am in the exact same boat, your post made me wonder if I hadn’t written it and just forgot about it. I applied to unis with much higher standards than I can reach and im supper worried that I won’t get any offers.
As I don’t know anything about your application, I can’t really make a prediction as to your chances of getting in but I just wanted to encourage you to have hope and believe in yourself!! Think of it like this: if you let yourself have faith and not worry about a rejection, then if you get a rejection, at least you won’t have wasted all that time feeling worried but enjoying your life . Though I know it is super difficult, try to have hope and not give so much importance to this application (there is always taking a gap-year and reapplying). And you shouldn’t see not haven gotten a response yet as a negative sign, most people I have seen that have gotten responses have been rejected (they seem to hold off on the offers). And more, a majority of the offers are send from march onwards, so the time aspect really shouldn’t make up for any of your worries.
Hope this was helpful!! Remember, we are all in this super rocky boat together😅🥰

Rather than worrying about the offers, which may be achieved. We need to worry about achieving the requirements in the a level which begins in 89days

Hello,
I am sorry to hear you are feeling this way. Firstly, it is important that there is more to a university than just it's reputation, you need to pick somewhere where you will be happy, not just the places you perceive to have the best reputations. There are many students on this platform alone who have got into top Universities for various courses and later regret their decision.

If you do not get any offers then clearing is always an option and there can be some really good universities in clearing. Clearing does not mean you are not as good as any of the other students who got in through the main application cycle, many of the best students got in through clearing. I worked clearing last year and one of the students who phoned me up had three A*s and was trying to apply through clearing.

I hope this helps, if you have any further questions please do let me know.
