Overnight guests St Hilda's Oxford

I've been given an offer for St Hilda's to start October this year but couldn't find anything about overnight guests. Are they allowed to stay in your room and what rules are there around it?

The wealthier colleges tend to have guest rooms for guests and the rest of the colleges allocate some of their spare rooms for guests.

At most colleges it will be permitted for overnight guests to stay in your room within certain limits (eg not more than a certain number of nights in a row). So if you had a school friend come to visit for a night or a sibling, it would usually be okay for them to stay over.
I don’t know about St Hilda’s rules specifically but that usually what is allowed.

It's quite normal to have someone bunk down on the floor of your room for a night or two. It might be worth mentioning that you have a guest to the porters so that they have an idea of headcount in the event of a fire, but the porters can never be sure who is sleeping out of college on any given night. You can invite your guest to breakfast, lunch, or dinner subject to any particular college rules about that.

Hilda’s grad here - Many people have friends etc staying over. I’ve never had a problem with it. To be honest Hilda’s is quite chill about these kinds of things. If you’re being very diligent you can register an overnight guest on the accommodation system if I recall correctly (as Stiffy mentioned).
