If you're a web developing interested like dramagrid (dramagrid.com) in AI and Robotics, some of the best universities for this field include MIT, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, and UC Berkeley. These institutions lead in AI research, machine learning, and robotics development, which also play a role in the entertainment industry—like AI-powered subtitles, video enhancement, and even virtual actors in dramas.
"Ever wondered how AI is shaping the future of dramas? Top universities like MIT, Stanford, and Carnegie Mellon lead in AI and Robotics, developing technologies that enhance subtitles, video quality, and even CGI characters in dramas!"

Hi @CerealDev!🌟

It’s fantastic that you’re thinking about studying AI and Robotics—it’s such an exciting and rapidly growing field! If you’re still deciding on the best university, let me tell you about the University of Essex, which has been ranked Top 25 for Computer Science in the UK. 🏆

Essex offers an amazing BEng Robotic Engineering degree that blends Artificial Intelligence and Robotics to give you the perfect mix of skills for the future. You’ll dive into robotics, machine learning, autonomous systems, computer vision, and embedded systems, gaining both the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to develop intelligent robotic systems. 🤖💡

One of the best things about this course is its hands-on approach—you won’t just be learning concepts; you’ll be applying them in real-world projects and working with cutting-edge robotic technologies in specialist labs. Plus, with a strong focus on employability, you’ll develop skills that are highly sought after in industries such as automation, AI research, healthcare robotics, and more. 🚀

The degree is based in the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, a hub of innovation where students are encouraged to push boundaries and explore new technologies. You’ll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking community, learning from leading experts in AI and robotics.

As for the University of Essex itself, it’s an amazing place to study, with a welcoming atmosphere, a diverse student community, and a stunning Colchester campus filled with green spaces and modern facilities. 🌳🏫

If you have any questions about the course, the university, or anything else, feel free to reach out. Wishing you all the best in your decision—you’re on an exciting path! 🚀😊

For Robotics, in order from best, according to edurank.org. I've only mentioned the universities that made it in to the top 100 in Europe for this subject. The only universities that made it in to the top 100 in the world for this subject are Imperial College London (28th best), Oxford (31st best), and Sheffield (98th). All the universities before Heriot-Watt are in the top 200 in the world for this subject. So, as a country, Robotics isn't as strong a subject for us as many others:

Imperial College London, Oxford, Sheffield, Hertfordshire, Cambridge, University College London, King's College London, Edinburgh, Bristol, Nottingham, Essex, University of the West of England, Heriot-Watt, Plymouth, Manchester, Glasgow, Sussex, Birmingham, Loughborough.

For AI on edurank.org:
Oxford (11th in the world), University College London (12th), Cambridge (17th), Imperial College London (30th), Manchester (50th), Edinburgh (52nd), Sheffield (81st), Bristol, Southampton, Nottingham, King's College London, Warwick, Glasgow, Birmingham, York, Leeds, Queen Mary University of London, Sussex, Surrey, Liverpool, Lancaster, Newcastle, Cardiff, Essex. Every university before Bristol is in the top 100 in the world for this subject. Every university before Queen Mary University of London is in the top 200 in the world.

For Data Science and Artificial Intelligence on www.topuniversities.com:
Oxford (4th in the world), University College London (18th in the world), Imperial College London (19th in the world), Edinburgh (21st in the world), King's College London (51-70 in the world), Lancaster (51-70 in the world).

So, taken together as 'Robotics and AI', Oxford then Imperial College London currently appear to be the best UK universities.
