My guess is probably just that all the boys you've met are selfish jerks who don't actually have any real friends.

They do but just not as easily as girls. Girls tend to invest emotionally in every relationship they have but it may take longer or a stronger biological connection for a boy to get emotionally attached. They may not be looking for a long term, emotionally rewarding relationship if they are still young.
