Hi 👋🏽. I'm in year 12 and I'm taking German, English Language and Religious Studies A level. So unfortunately I don't have any aspirations for medicine but it looks like you're taking quite a few of the subjects I did at GCSE. I did History, Religious Studies and of course English lit and Lang. I may not be able to help you with the content (I may not have done the same exam boards or the same texts in English lit) but I'm pretty good at writing essays especially for Religious Studies and History (I got 9s in both). So if you needed any help for your GCSE journey I'd be glad to help ☺️

I think the best advice I can give for that is practice really. Once you've written essays upon essays it becomes easier to keep on the time frame. Generally use the number of marks as a guide on how much time you should be spending. If you can't think of what to say for a specific question I wouldn't dwell on it. Instead make the most of your time by doing the questions you can do. Also for any essay subject I would never start writing without planning. Planning not only ensures you'll have the best essay but it also means you'll save time because you know exactly what to write at each part of the essay. Avoid waffling - basically only say the things that matter. Never add anything that adds nothing to argument because you will just be wasting time and possibly making your answer unclearer. And the more the practice the easier applying these techniques become. Sorry I didn't realise this answer would be this long 🤣
