Sorry could you rephrase the 'question'?

Biology is essential for most medical schools, while maths is compulsary for engineering.

    The biology is more demanding.
Mathematics is more about practice and formulae, the biology is about understanding and critical thinking.

Maths is more interesting (in my view anyway :p:, depends on where your interests lie I guess) You don't necessarily need biology for medicine though, and medical schools generally count maths as a science, and they respect it too as its regarded by most as a chalenging subject. Personally I'd go for Maths, the few medical schools that do ask for biology don't normally ask for it beyond AS level. Good luck with the decision

Maths is more interesting and more important in the long run.
Biology contains too much ambiguity imo (though i do both subjects).
