Salford OT PRE REG term dates

Hi I’m hoping some previous students are here who have studied the pre reg OT at Salford.. I’m wondering how the timetable works as I’ve only been told we get less holidays.
What month does it typically end in year one and year two? And when are the holidays etc?

It sounds like you either have a place to study Pre-Registration OT or are applying, either way, congratulations! Great choice!

If you do have a place then you can view details of the current timetables here (although this is subject to change when your course begins) but if you type in the name of your course 'Occupational Therapy' and select the master's option, then it will show you the current timetable:

You can contact our Course Enquiries team directly for more details, they are unlikely to be able to provide the timetable for the next intake but will be happy to provide any further information they can. See below for their details:

Thanks for your reply. And sorry for the late response I’m still trying to find an answer to my original question and not having any luck. The course starts in September 25 and we was told we get less holiday etc and it’s a bit more full on time wise. My question is what month is the last day of term or placement for year one. Does it end in May like other subjects or does it carry on til August. I’m desperately trying to figure out childcare options as I don’t qualify for childcare support so I need to know exactly what months I’ll be at uni, hope that makes sense?

I do not believe that time tables would of been made for September 2025 entry so it is hard to advise you with specifics.

It may be worth contacting our course enquiries team, they may be able to give you a general understanding of how the year is set out, but no promises I am afraid.

To email our course enquiries teams it would be [email protected] they take up to five days to respond to any email.

You can also give them a call on 0161 295 4545 between the hours of 10am and 4pm, Monday - Friday.
