Fees for overseas applicants

I am the father of twins who have UK/Italian passports. I am a British citizen. I am retired from the diplomatic service of the EU, and am now with my wife and two children on a diplomatic posting with the EU (my children have dual UK/Italian citizenship). My wife is Italian citizen.

I had two children from a previous marriage both did two degrees in the UK paying home fee, I was still a serving diplomat with the EU at that time.

Having trawled through all the websites I am getting a bit desperate. I need a reliable source who can advise on my rights and those go my children in the circumstances outlined above. I dont see any way to present my situation and get a clear decision on access to fiunding and the fees likely for my children down the line

Hi Billy,

Just to check, are you querying the amount of fees the university will be requesting? If so, you'd be best to check with the university as it's them who determine this.

Students apply for loans with us and we pay up to £9,250 (in the 24/25) academic year. Thanks, Jason

Thanks for the feedback. I have a headache as my children have Italian and British passports, but the reason we are now overseas is because we are on diplomatic posting. I was wondering if in this case the three years residency requirement could be waived?

Thanks for any advice on this issue

Hi Billy,

Have the students been in the UK at any time in their life? When are their courses starting?

Thanks,
Claire
