starting to rethink my options... SWITCHING COURSES - ADVICE?

Hi

I recently applied for medical biochemistry but then found out about medical physiology - my main issue with medical biochemistry was that i wanted to do an optional haematology unit but didn't have that option which m.physiology offered with the other optional modules i wanted to overlap my study. Which course would be better overall if i wanted to get into a pharmacology industry - anyone had a similar experience?

A degree in Pharmacology, Drug Development or Medicinal Chemistry is the more obvious degree surely?

i first wanted to get my msci in medical biochemistry so that my options are still open but take overlapping modules with pharmacology just in case if i did change my mind and then take a phd after my msci to specialise.

Hi there,

I don't know much about these subject areas, but Prospects is a super helpful site with figuring out career paths. I thought I'd link it just in case!

If you have access to career support where you currently are, definitely make use of it. They likely have plenty of resources to hand that can help you out.

Best of luck,
