Revision tips

I study Maths, physics and economics at A level and I’m predicted CCD, but I need AAB
Is it possible to achieve this in 4 months, and if so how?

I don't think it's impossible but it will require a lot of hard work and effort. You need to find out what the issue is for each subject, which is leading to you struggling. I do A Level Maths and Economics so I can give you some tips for them.

Is it that you're not understanding the content?

Then you have to start going through content as best as you can, making lots of notes, watching YouTube videos and asking your teachers for support.
For Economics, econplusdal can be very helpful, I know some people don't like learning from videos, I was the same, but there is no shame in trying something new.
This is a bit of a unique one, but I like to voice record myself going through the content as if I am teaching myself, because if I can articulate concepts out loud, it's easier for me to understand them and plus I can listen back to the recording.
Also, from any tests or mocks you've done, on questions you didn't do particularly well on, write down which topic it was from, then revise that content first so you can focus your revision on certain areas.

Is it that you struggling with exam technique?

Then I would recommend doing a ton of past paper questions, you probably know about PMT already, it is helpful as it gives you exam practice questions by topic for maths and I'm guessing physics too. You may want to time yourself while doing the questions, if you struggle with time in exams.
Whichever exam board you have for Economics will have past papers on their website, select some questions and ask your teacher if they will mark any extra essays you hand in, this is because Economics is a bit harder to mark yourself. Econplusdal also has some great videos on evaluation and analysis too.

Is it that you are forgetting content you learned in year 12?

Remember to revisit year 12 content or else you'll easily forget it, and this is important as you can still be assessed on it in exams.

Good luck. Hopefully some of these techniques help.

For maths what I’ve done is read through class notes and examples (if u do edexcel the Pearson textbooks have good chapter summaries) and make sure you understand and remember everything for each topic, then do 5 ish qs from each topic (or more depends on what you find hard), then try a paper- half of the difficulty is knowing what you need to do and when so I don’t think doing loads of the same type of q in a row is helpful after a certain point. Then go back and do more qs on topics you found hard in the paper and also watch yt videos on it. I’ve been doing this over half term and it’s working well so far. good luck

It is possible. Make sure you look at the areas that you don’t know as much and make sure you learn them
