Who can I speak to at cardiff uni about second year accomodation?

I feel like I'm going crazy, because I have a major issue with second year accomodation. I don't have a garuntor, and I have no idea what to do. I tried emailing the advice email, and didn't get a straight response. All I want is someone i can speak to about where I am meant to live next year because it's looking more and more likely I have to drop out. Not even just a garuntor, I just need to talk to someone about second year accomodation, but I'm not getting any responses.

Hi there,

Im so sorry to hear this, I know how daunting second year accommodation can seem. Just to check was the email you sent to the students' union advice email?
You may have seen this website, but it contains some useful information, that might be helpful.
As a fourth year I can try to offer some advice also, I would definitely say you do not need to drop out, there will be somewhere, and it is still early on in the year. The two main options are living in a shared house with other students, that you may be able to find through Cardiff overheard Facebook, or maybe you could go into Cardiff Students Letting in the SU and mention you are looking for somewhere to share with, if they know of any houses that are looking for someone else to share with. The other main option is private accommodation, there's loads of them around, I stayed there in first year and enjoyed it, it is a bit more expensive but has many benefits, and all inclusive bills, gym and other amenities included too. They always have availabilities and you'll definitely be able to find somewhere. Here's a link that might help for more information.
Please don't stress too much about this though, I wouldn't want you to loose you're hard work so far in Cardiff. I'm sorry you've had trouble so far, but it will get better.
Let me know if this is helpful and if you have any other questions.
