Earlier today I went to dollar store and saw this cute worker here, should I shoot my shot when I returns, or it would be inappropriate since she working?!

Cute people in retail may well find this an occupational hazard. It is often inappropriate and embarrassing asking someone out when they are working, as it isn’t a dating context. Realistically also they’re unlikely to be holding out for a random stranger to approach them. Unless you have stunning good looks or magnetic charm the chances are low. At least start with a smile and some chat to see if you get any encouragement
