Does he like me or am I delulu

We sit next to eachither in a class we have 3 hiurs a week due to the seating plan since September. I never knew him before.
At first when we were getting to know eavhother I was the weird one n we got 'I wish sir never sat us together' 'acc gonna ask him to move seats' 'ur so weird' etc (I hope it was in a more joking manner) cuz he was always laughing smiling etc. we talked ab weird deep stuff like what's life etcetc n we both r pretty close academically so it's lowkey a competition

Now he's the weird one. basically I took a pic of the board (sit at the back and can't see) and there was a pic of me like it was quite small he couldn't really see it I couldn't but u could make out it was a pic of me n my face rly close up the camera. Bro was laughing uncontrollably man was going red n shi n wouldn't stop. N ye i laugh alot too n he laughs and regarding touchinginess I was nudging him n tohching his arm lowkey n I was like what r u laughing at that wasn't me etc.

idk he doesn't rly speak to any girls n hrs not rhe most attractive but his ego is quite big. he's never dated anyone or even talking stages as far as I know. Idk how he views me tho what more evidence do I look for to see if he likes me as a friend or maybe more? I've liked a guy b4 n he's liked me back but we were too shy to admit so feelings r faded n I don't want a part 2. I've asked for his number to send him my essay vuz he asked to see it n I sent it v brief hardly even a convo. He hasn't initiated anything since n I don't want to be the one.

Someone spread a rumour that I liked him n it got to him. he was acting weird that day n when he saw me enter class he was just blatantly staring . his behaviour was normal idk then he started acting a bit off I canr explain it just not as usual so I straight up asked him 'have u hears the rumours' n he said ye so I immediately told him the girl lit says I like any guy I sit next to etc etc n asked him if he believed them n he was like nah n he said he thought I made them up like whattt what does that mean bro

Ifs been a few weeks since that's passed n I think we're a bit closer now like I haven't even sat down in class n we're having a full blown discussion

I get where ur coming frome but his friends and my friends r gonna make fun off me forever and I have to deal with him in most ny 6th form classes n next to me for the rest of out subject
