Applying to trinity college Dublin

Hi , I am hoping to apply to trinity college Dublin as a medicine applicant - I was wondering whether I would be classed as an international student since the Uk is no longer part of EU and is it a lot harder as an English student to apply??
I believe each university has its own rules regarding whether you are an EU or non-EU student depending on how long you have lived in the UK. Send them an email to confirm your fee status. I hope this helps!

Helloooo. I’ve just applied a couple months ago to several of the irish universities and I’m from the UK. Any UK/EU/Irish applicant applies via the CAO. If you look it up they have quite a lengthy handbook.
You convert your a levels into points and certain courses require certain points. Unlike the UK where the minimum requirements are enough to suffice, in Ireland they aren’t. You need to get a competitive enough points score which depending on what course you apply to can be very very high (in the A star realm). But as far as I’m aware it’s also pretty difficult for the irish to get a decent score in their leaving cert so it’s not really harder as an english applicant. Offers are given out after results day so you’ll probably want to apply to UCAS as well in case u dont end up getting an offer.
If been in UK long enough you are eligible for CAO application & free fees.
Probably 3A* (+any 4th A level or EPQ, AS useful) and High HPAT score.
