NTU portfolio

Hi, so I have made a fashion photography portfolio for NTU. Like with all the unis, I make the portfolis and then compress it, however NTU asked for an *unzipped* (meaning not compressed) file that is only 10MB. Surely this can't be the case right? I mean it is impossible to make a pdf unzipped without it being over 10MB by a lot. What do I do? does it really have to be BOTH unzipped and only 10MB?? Please help me out ☹️ Has anyone else had issues with this or is it just me?

Hi, you can check the size of a file by ‘examining properties’. 10mb is actually a lot and it’s quite hard to accidentally go over with a PDF. just make sure you save the file as a copy. one of my portfolios had 22 slides and was only 8mb. also NTU asks you to send the file as a shareable link so i think it will be fine either way.

Hi @radio_rat,
It's great to hear you're interested in our Fashion Photography course!

Sometimes it can be a challenge meeting file size requirements for portfolio uploads, especially if your portfolio contains multiple high quality or raw images. Generally we would recommend looking into compressing any larger images. This can be done with a number of free tools such as Adobe Express.

As well as this, you can also in many cases opt to submit your portfolio as a shareable link using cloud storage solutions like Google Drive or One Drive. You can also find more advice on submitting a photography portfolio here.

I hope this helps, we're looking forward to seeing your portfolio!
