Interviews for unis

Hi, I’m applying for a bachelors in diagnostic radiography in 2025. I’ve gotten interviews from 2 universities and they’re asking me to book a date for the interview. But honestly I’m so scared. What if they don’t like what I have to offer? I’m not very knowledgeable about research into diagnostic radiography. All I know is that it’s a great and interesting degree which has plenty of diversity within healthcare. It’s also in high demand which has made it more competitive over recent years! I’m scared they’ll ask me something I don’t know the answer too. Also I’m redoing year 13 because I couldn’t catch up with people, if they were to ask me a question on that, can I include the fact I’ve been experiencing anxiety? But they want to choose confident applicants so if I just show them my weaknesses they could reject me. I’m so nervous and I don’t know if I should book it or how to prepare for it. How do people do this to enter university? I have no idea , its so challenging.

i feel the exact same way and I'm also resitting my A levels in the summer, so you're not alone!! I struggle with anxiety and tend to overthink a lot haha. Any update on your interviews??

This is literally my situation. If it helps, none of the universities have asked me why I repeated year 13, but they are interested in what you’ve done. Don't stress too much about research!, just make sure you understand what a diagnostic radiographer does and make sure to know ur NHS values and be confident! You got this!
