The important thing is to look at GAMSAT cut offs for where you want to apply. I got 65 (69 Notts way), but the cut off was 57, I believe. The cut off is the important bit. The gamsat score is just an arbitrary line to draw so they can cut down the numbers of applicants to interview. I think Notts was something like 1020 applicants for 90 places.

So as long as I get over the cut off I should be onto the way to an interview?? I’m applying for 2026 entry but just really struggling with the gamsat so thought where better to ask for a bit of guidance

Just to throw my 2p in lol - GAMSAT cut off is below that, I got 54 and got interviewed for Notts and it’s also 113 places I believe. My GAMSAT score was terrible so sat UCAT and did well, just used Notts as an 4th insurance choice and UCAT for my other 3 and was, as others would be, shocked they invited me to an interview

Is there any specific ways or sources you used to revise for the gamsat

Thank you for the corrections! I didn't realise that. I think it's 90 home places (?). They make offers purely on interview score - is that right? I'm probably going to firm Notts - where are you firming?

All good - on one hand it’s not something I’m proud of correctly the lowest possible score to interview - but GAMSAT was awful so if I can reassure 1 person then that’s ok. After doing both UCAT and GAMSAT but advice to anyone is do the UCAT lol hands down

Honestly it’s made me feel so much better. But I did want to do the ucat originally but i absolutely love notts and have no other choice than to make my hair fall out doing this silly little test

It's just an exam and the purpose is to cut down applicant numbers - the whole offer decision is based on interview score, the gamsat is just a hurdle. You should still be proud!!

Notts offer 6:21pm - not sure if anyone else is waiting

Any intls heard back? Acceptances/rejecrions/waitlist? Personally got waitlisted and was wondering if anyone had any stats/knows anything about intls getting off waitlist successfully.

Hi , I am an aspiring medic wanting to apply for grad medicine at nottingham for the year (26/27) .
Im in first year at the moment and have got high 2:1s in most of my modules except my recent one which is anatomy and physiology and i’m having to resit it due to some distractions that happened on the exam day. When you send your application off do u need to send in your university transcript or is a prediction fine ?
Also if they see that i have failed a module and had to retake it will I be looked down at on my application ?
