Hello! I got an offer a few weeks ago. I really didn't enjoy the interview at all and thought it went badly, so it was a bit of a surprise.

Yep I completely failed two of them as well! I think I made up for it on the stations talking to people

Yep..... Not sure how much I'm supposed to talk about it (though interviews are over now so it won't let anyone cheat ig) but that was the stupidest thing honestly how is that supposed to tell them whether I'll be a good vet student or not.

oops i forgot about that, deleted my past message just incase, but it's just about the ability to follow instructions i guess, but they did say that it was designed to catch you out, so it makes sense that they still give out offers for that section not being perfect, for me i really hated the skills and ""work experience"" (i feel like there wasn't too much content on that which is a shame)

Hi @Ceryseve,

Congratulations on receiving an offer to study on our BVMS Veterinary Medicine & Surgery programme! 🎉

I just wanted to let you know that our 2025 Facebook community groups are now open. You can join the relevant group for your course and connect with other offer holders. If you are staying in our student halls, there are also groups to meet your flat mates. You can find out more here.

Hi I’ve been offered a place last week for the foundation course - would you mind giving an overview of what the process looks like with the foundation year, the MMI interview and the progression onto the Veterinary Medicine course please

Well done! I sent an email to them earlier on in the year and they told me they have approximately 80 places per year.

Hi there,

Thank you for your message and patience. Congratulations on your offer! We can't provide too much information about the MMI however, we do have a handy page with tips on completing your MMI. You can visit the page here: Top tips for completing your MMI. Modules in your foundation year will include science relevant to veterinary medicine, integrated bio veterinary sciences, and animal husbandry. They are delivered to help prepare you to study veterinary medicine. For more information such as the module breakdowns and progression from the foundation year visit: Veterinary Medicine & Surgery (with Foundation Year), BVMS The page has lots of useful and important information 🙂

Hope this helps and best wishes,
^Zac

Hi there, 👋

It's fantastic to hear that you've accepted us as your firm choice through UCAS. 🎉

UK students who will be joining us in September, will be contacted by us with their unique registration number so that they can apply online via our portal. Bookings usually open in the March before your course starts. Once you have applied for accommodation our teams will get back to you with an offer.

There's lots of information about our accommodation options that you can explore here.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know. 😊

Best wishes,
Sarah

Heyyy,

Just a question, is anyone else having issues with student finance application? I keep trying to put in the course as vet med (foundation) but it comes up with “no course found” just a bit worried - called up the uni and was told that the name of the uni changed to University of Lancashire. But still the course can’t be found- has anyone else got this issue?
