Sorry I’m picking up this thread again … so according to this response, if an applicant is offered the foundation course due to not meeting grades (but had conditional offer for 5 yr so passed MMIs) they are guaranteed a place on the 5 ur if they successfully pass the foundation modules? Thank you for your message and patience. I'm not sure how it works if you had an offer and didn't meat the grades as you will apply for the BVMS year 1 during your first semester of foundation. Here's what I found on our course page about:

To progress onto Year 1 of our BVMS course you'll need to take part in the standard application process. This requires the following:

•

Meet the qualifying grade criteria in Year 0

•

Apply for BVMS Year 1 in your first semester of Year 0

•

Complete the interview selection event

•

Receive an offer to join the BVMS five-year programme

•

Meet any conditional requirements of the offer

•

Join the BVMS five-year programme at the start of the next academic year

Thanks, yes I have this but have also been told by admissions that there is no interview / mmi for those who already passed it so it’s not all applicable to students in this category

The best people to answer this is the course enquiries team - see the link Zac has provided above. My interpretation of what is says on the website is yes but check directly with them to be sure

Thank you for your patience. I just had it confirmed that you will need to complete the interview and processes as per my last message. As I mentioned previously, the 'Progression from your foundation year' tab is correct and one to go by, which you can take a look at here: Veterinary Medicine & Surgery (with Foundation Year), BVMS

There is no interview from MBBS foundation to MBBS which may have caused some confusion, so if you wish to get this confirmed personally, please contact our friendly course enquiries team who will be happy to help.
