University of Newcastle gave me the wrong offer???

I applied for the Business, Accounting and Finance PwC flying start programme and I just recieved an offer for Accounting and Finance and I’m not sure why? If anyone knows why this could be it would be appreciated.

What does UCAS Hub about the code of the course to which you applied at Newcastle? Does it say NN14?

If you're sure you applied for NN14, then I'd contact the uni and ask why they've offered you N400.

Yep their phone lines are closed at the minute so I’ll ring them up tomorrow

Also, in the past the "welcome" email from UCAS used to contain a confirmation of the courses and unis to which you've applied. I don't know if it still does, however. Have you checked that email to see if it says NN14?

Yes it says I applied to NN14 and shortly after I recieved an email from Newcastle themselves saying “programme of study Bsc (hons) Business,Accounting and Finance (with work placements)”

I meant to say that this was when I first applied however on ucas hub and the email they sent me earlier is for the N400 course not my desired NN14 course

Yup, that's what I'd assumed you meant. Do let us know what they say when you make contact.

I asked the uni if they would offer another course if I didn't get accepted for the PWC one. They said yes. So maybe that is what happened? Sorry if it is the case and you didn't get the PWC one, but hopefully the offer you got was a good one.

It might be you have been offered an alternative course? I know not everybody gets offered a place for the PWC course as there is higher entry requirements but they offer you their normal course instead?
However did u get any emails from PWC?

No email from PwC and my predicted grades were above what they asked for so I’m a bit confused
