I would look for vacancies in ambulance services ECA, AAP or student paramedic positions because they will fund the degree if you work your way through that. I believe a couple of ambulance services have applications open at the moment so it may be worth having a look.

Thank you so much, my only worry for emergency care assistant or associate ambulance practitioner is I have my English and Maths GCSEs, I dont have my Science and I have Epilepsy. So at this minute it’ll be hard for me to obtain a C1 License in order to drive a 3 tonne vehicle.

Any apprenticeship will require you to have a C1 driving licence, so the most realistic route to become a paramedic would be to go to university - this would however require A-levels or equivalent in order to be considered (there are access courses at some colleges that may be of interest to you).

Ambulance services also only require you to have a provisional C1 when applying for their apprenticeships a lot of the time if that helps at all.

It’ll be difficult to be honest although I ponder a second degree because I don’t want to get into student debt.
