No study motivation

I’m a grade 9 student but for some reason I simply have no motivation to revise. It’s year 10 and I know I still need to revise and make resources so I only need to go over everything in year 11. It just overwhelms me and I don’t know where to start from, or what study techniques I should use. For reference these are my subjects:

Edexcel Maths Higher
AQA English Language and Literature
AQA Triple Science
AQA Level 2 Further Maths
AQA Geography
AQA History
Edexcel Spanish

I’m not sure what types of revision I should do for these subjects, and that’s what holds me back. I know the resources I make should be enough to get me a grade 9, but I don’t know how to. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hey! Try not to overthink it at this stage. While its a good idea to revise as you go along, overwhelming yourself can lead to burn out. I'd say a good place to start is to figure out your learning style, if you retain information better through reading then mind maps may be a good place to start, if listening then you could study with a friend and discuss the lesson together, if you prefer to learn through quizzing you could make an account on something like quizzlet and start adding your own.

Maybe just start small - do 5 minutes a day. Then build it up once you feel comfortable. Normally, for me personally, if I try to study for 5 minutes, it's simply not enough so the 5 minutes extends into 30 minutes or even longer.
Also, try changing your environment, eg. Don't study on your bed - study on a desk and if listening to music helps you to concentrate then listen to music and maybe clear and de clutter your desk as it can help make you feel less overwhelmed.
Before you start studying, make a study plan that's realistic - even if you study one subject for 5 or 30 min a day or week - you can always build upon it. What's important right now is starting small so that your consistent and don't burn out. Sorry if this was long but experiment and see how things go. Lmk if you want clarification.
