I don't care too much for money; money can't buy me love.

I wouldn't like to go over the top for Valentines Day. I'd see it more as a day for giving love rather than material gifts. I'd rather just celebrate it by spending the day with the person I love rather than shower them with gifts. A relationship should be built on love and mutual affection rather than gifts and if any girlfriend of mine that I'd have in the future couldn't accept that, well... thats just not how it works IMO.

For some reason, my psychic powers tell me you're single. And rather bitter.

And, even worse than V-Day, Christmas tries to sell you a belief system. Some baby came to save the world.

Nah will laugh at the couples who buy expensive gifts and spend loads of money who then break up a month later

It's funny how a day can be a festival of rampant consumerism, yet a festival of annoying religious evangelicism, simultaneously.

Yes, but then when you find someone, you get to laugh at all the new single people... and so, the circle of life is complete.

It's fun, too.

Yeah, I look forward to hating myself when I'm part of a smug couple in the future. Until then I'll just sit on the touchline with Matron. :P
