Hello,

It’s wonderful that you are coming to study at Chester university. You have made a brilliant decision, it’s a great university!

The university website has lots of information about all of the accommodation on offer, there is a page dedicated to Hollybank Court, and if you follow this link it will take you to it: https://www.chester.ac.uk/student-life/accommodation/explore-accommodation/hollybank-court/. There is also a blog on the website which you can read here, https://www.chester.ac.uk/about/news/articles/my-personal-experience-of-living-in-hollybank-court-accommodation/. This has been written by a Chester university student who has lived in Hollybank so it gives you a good idea of what it’s like from a student’s perspective.

The accommodation website also has a page with a comparison of all of the various accommodation available at the university which you might be interested to look at. You can access it using the link https://www.chester.ac.uk/student-life/accommodation/explore-accommodation/.

If you have any questions about the university accommodation, the team is available to help you and answer all of your questions, and you will find all of the contact details on the earlier links.

Finally have you considered visiting the university for an applicant day? The next one is this Wednesday 19th February. During the day student led tours of campus are available and also student led tours of the university accommodation available. The tours of the accommodation rooms are by students who are currently or have been living in the rooms, so really know what it’s like, they are great to get a student perspective and can answer all of your questions I’m sure. If you are interested in visiting, simply book your place here https://www.chester.ac.uk/study/visit-us/applicant-days/.

Unfortunately I’m a commuting student so I don’t have any first hand knowledge of the accommodation, but I hope the information above has helped you a bit,
All the best,
Jess
