I feel like I'm growing up too fast

Passed my driving test a few weeks ago, I'm now getting used to going places on my own. Although I like the independce, I feel like I'm growing up to quickly and I'm becoming independent from my parents. The 3 of us have always been really close, and I had an amazing childhood. But i feel sad and distracted as I feel like it's over - I can look after myself a lot now, I can drive on my own, I'll be off to university and living in halls in a few months.
Is this normal to feel this way? Will this feeling go away? How can I get rid of this feeling?

You can still contact and see your parents.

You're still a very young person and you can still do what you wish to do.

You have your whole life ahead of you.

There's absolutely nothing that the OP has said that suggests they're thinking about suicide. I really do think that it's not necessary to assume people are thinking about suicide all the time.
I realise you are a rep for a mental health hotline, but it's also not necessary to push the whole "if you're thinking about suicide" thing for no reason. At best it's quite weird, and at worst it could make people who weren't previously thinking about suicide to start thinking about suicide!

Everyone I am fine, my mental health is generally great. I appreciate all the responses and support ❤️

Pretty normal and, when you return some years later home and may have a much closer connection to your parents again.
